My favourite US holiday of the year is upon us--a holiday devoted to eating until you can't eat anymore, then pauses to watch T.V. until you eat again. It's just a glorious day. At University by my sophomore year I ended up having a Thanksgiving dinner at my place for all those who couldn't go home for the holidays.
Honestly I had so much fun planning the thanksgiving menu at the shop for lunch this year I'm having it run from Wednesday to Saturday because it's just that good.
But of course, we're known for our desserts, and we are offering the perfect treats for all those who wish to celebrate this lovely holiday. We have the following:
- Pumpkin Pie (26 GBP serves 10-12): It's moist, creamy, pumpkin-y, and just spiced. Perfect with Whipped Cream.
- Pumpkin and Candied Ginger Cheesecake (32 GBP serves 12-14): The name says it all, but best yet, the crust has an Australian touch: toasted Anzac biscuits with oats and coconut.
- Bourbon Pecan Pie (26 GBP serves 10-12): You see the pictures above. Enough said.
- Apple Rum Cake (13.50 GBP serves 6): A simple pound cake that's moist and lovely for those who don't want the typical pie
- Vanilla Layer Cake with Cinnamon Maple Buttercream and Pumpkin Cheesecake Center: for those who want a big fluffly cake to dig into. (6 inch/22, 8 inch/33, 10 inch/45)
All are available for pre-order for pick-up any-time in the afternoons. We are limiting production, so order early as once we're sold out, we are sold out!
